Sensory Testing

The Eurofins Food and Water Testing NZ network of laboratories across New Zealand offers the dairy industry comprehensive sensory evaluations to ensure product consistency and quality.

Our trained sensory panel is able to evaluate products for taste, odour and colour, and is comprised of experienced staff who have worked within large dairy manufacturing sites managing sensory programmes.  

Shelf-life sensory evaluation 

We provide accelerated storage monitoring for shelf life sensory evaluation. Our storage trials at elevated temperatures provide an indication of how products will age, or how they will respond to temperatures in transit or storage in warmer climates. 

We can carry out sensory testing on the following products:

  • Milk powders (skim, whole milk)

  • Fortified powders

  • Infant formulations – stages 1, 2 and 3
